Abstract

With a distinctive feature of a quasi-experiment, the influence of body weight on physiological behaviour during physical activity was determined. The data were recorded for processing and analysis in spreadsheets of the Microsoft Excel program and STATGRAPHICS PLUS 5.1. The behaviour of the dependent variables during the quasi-experiment makes us conclude that the thermoregulatory possibilities, the values of oxygen consumption and the organic adaptation index have unfavourable behaviour for children outside the body weight considered normal weight.
