Abstract

We are today’s pupils and students who are prepared in yesterday’s schools by last year’s teachers with respect to tomorrow’s problems. The present paper highlights some aspects that trigger affinity or repulsiveness towards a certain subject – in our case the German language, as a foreign language Additionally, it tries to present some possible ways of preventing repulsiveness by describing some new basic methodological principles that bring about educational success in the process of teaching German.
