Theoretical Aspects of Translation as Communication Bridge – Premises for Further Development in All Areas

Abstract

Despite the high level of standardisation, and internationalisation, there are many deeply rooted cultural, communicational, and linguistic differences in all domains. It is the task of the translator, and the translating activity in general, to eliminate or at least diminish this communicational hindrance, by means of terminology with concrete solutions for each particular encountered difficulty.
