Abstract

By his first option as well as by his destiny, Ion Negoitescu is a „lovinescian” critic – that is a practitioner of artistic criticism of high state, poignant and perpetually interested in a fecund contact with literature. Drawn both to literary history as well as to present literature, he is also a sustainer of revisions in the Romanian literary field.
