Abstract

The knowledge about the rhythms of the moon and how to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature, the lunar calendar and its applicability situated on the border of magic, superstition, and science, the fascination of the moon on man and his various areas of life, the debate between science and superstition, the nature of superstition understood not only as a threat but also as a cultural and intercultural good and the rethinking, reconsidering of own beliefs to get, to achieve personal success, some aspects of the moon in H. Ch. Andersen's „ Bilderbuch ohne Bilder”, all constitute the subject matter of this paper.
