Permanent et transitoire - Le cas du nom abstrait «Hibernation»

Abstract

This article focuses on describing the special status of the abstract noun “hibernation” which seems to have a special linguistic behavior, as a state abstract noun and as a quality abstract noun at the same time. We are arguing that hibernation, even if it is a quality of certain species, its “state” value seems more representative of the discourse than its “quality”.
