A Path to Successful Creative Writing

Abstract

This article is an attempt to penetrate into the depth of the writer’s creative mind and analyze some of the methods professional writers commonly employ to make their compositions interesting, unusual, and notable. The main aim of this paper is to propose in-depth research into the major stages of the creative writing process and to outline a range of useful techniques which enable beginner writers to master the art of writing successfully. Among them, the most productive seems to be the following: looking at a phenomenon from a new perspective, brainstorming, notetaking, open-ended writing, clustering ideas, using visual materials, humor, tone, strong vocabulary, and vivid language.
