Abstract

The paper presents a brief outline of French language acquisition, and the difficulties and problems implied by both the teaching and the self-teaching process, emphasizing the necessity of devising reliable teaching support according to the field students are specializing in, the systematic approach to specialized language courses, but also technical grammar, as a stimulating means of achieving linguistic competence and performance, and information acquisition to be further useful to the future specialists.
