Sociolinguistic Coordinates of Slang - The Linguistic Community

Abstract

The article has as a starting point the definitions of slang, both of foreign and Romanian linguistics, which designate slang users by various terms borrowed from sociology, and broadly used most of the time. Consequently, we considered it necessary firstly to bring clarity to terminology, and secondly to present our own point of view.
