Bullfighting in the Spanish Literature

Abstract

The present article deals with the presence of bullfighting in the Spanish literature. Its main objective is to give a panoramic view of this genre and establish its basic features. A historical itinerary through its most outstanding authors will highlight the changing trends in the genre. A special emphasis is placed on the image of the protagonist of the bullfight
