Considerations on the Significance of “Post”

Abstract

As the title suggests, in this article, I try to clarify certain aspects concerning the term ‘postmodern’. For a better understanding, the term is confronted with that of ‘modernism’. I do not attempt to solve such a complex debate. My only ambition is to draw attention to this often-ignored issue and to situate it in order to avoid confusion and ambiguity. I start from ‘what’ and end up with ‘why’.
