Aspects of Narratology

Abstract

In this paper, I made a brief overview, by no means comprehensive, of some of the main directions of narratology, as a branch of literary theory that gives an account of how novels and short stories are constructed. I believe that it is important to be aware of and to investigate the narrative techniques used by contemporary writers.
