Didactical Device and Method for Debye’s Law Study

Abstract

This paper presents a practical and easy method to determine the specific heat of a common material such as graphite, at a temperature range of 90 to 150 Celsius degrees, using a simple device. This is meant to be a didactical verification of Debye law regarding the heat capacities, which can be used in laboratories to demonstrate the formula, not just in a mathematical way.
