Abstract

Significant changes in the environment due to biomass burning are occurring both locally and globally, leading to climate change. Environmental studies and other life sciences require a new class of devices with a fast, sensitive, and reliable response designed to investigate interactions at very low dimensions and concentrations. The possibility of employing new materials and innovative technologies allows creation of new prototype devices.
