On Triangular Fuzzy Numbers Arithmetic Approximations in Linear Optimization

Abstract

By evaluating linear expressions with triangular fuzzy coefficients and variables, non-triangular fuzzy numbers are obtained. A possible approximation and its effects on the linear optimization methods are introduced and analyzed in this paper. Also, an assumption that two different approximation approaches give the same approximation errors is proved.
