Entity-Attribute-Value Modelling

Abstract

This paper presents a data model which can be used in case of heterogeneous set of entities. Classical ER modelling is not suitable in this case. Although there are a few other approaches that may be used for this class of problems, Entity-Attribute-Value modelling is the one with the largest support from the industry. Other models are briefly presented compared and discussed.
