Maximal graphs and Calabi-Bernstein’s type problems in some Robertson-Walker spacetimes

Abstract

Spacelike graphs of zero mean curvature in certain 3-dimensional Robertson-Walker spacetimes are considered. All the entire solutions to the maximal surface equation are obtained and a non-existence result is also shown. For Robertson-Walker spacetimes close to Lorentz-Minkowski one, the behavior of entire solutions to the maximal surface equation is analyzed.
