Almost symplectic conjugations

Abstract

In this paper we consider differentiable manifolds equipped with an almost symplectic structure w, as models for the theory of hamiltonian mechanical systems. Using the theory of w-conjugation, which was elaborated in [5], we will obtain a natural criterion of comparison for these models. Together with P. Stavre we will continue, in another paper, the extension to the tangent and cotangent bundle, where w appear in a natural way and we will give the invariants of the linear connections generated by the w-conjugation relation.
