A note on almost contact metric hypersurfaces of nearly Kahlerian 6-sphere

It is proved that the almost contact metric structure induced on a totally geodesic hypersurface of the nearly Kahlerian six-dimensional sphere S6 is necessarily nearly cosymplectic.
