Abstract

The present paper is the second part of a study related to bamboo, which presents the experimental results regarding its anatomical, physical and mechanical properties. The obtained results for the tested properties are comparable with the literature data and represent the authors’ important contribution to the knowledge and understanding of bamboo as a potential material for substituting wood.
