Wood as Renewable Material and its Natural Durability

Abstract

This paper presents some aspects referring to wood which is a renewable material, owing to its cambium division and its multiplication by seeds. It also presents aspects referring to wood durability as the main factor related to its damage and the factors connected to the species and climacteric conditions that influence durability.
