Determination of the Ground Line In The Case Of the Vegetation Perpendicular Indices

Abstract

The paper presents approaches issues on the modality of obtaining the elements that characterize the ground line using satellite images of average satellite resolution Landsat 5 TM and Landsat 7 ETM+. The determining elements are the inclination of the line and the point of intersection with the axis of the coordinate system and can be obtained by achieving the simple linear regression taking into account the pixels representing the empty ground in red and near-infrared bands.
