Abstract

Some recent research studies were focused on the workability of alder and birch showing the increased interest of the specialists from the wood processing department in the processing optimization of these wood species, more or less used until now, also called secondary resources. The paper presents a review literature of the research studies, results, and conclusions referring to the workability of alder and birch.
