Abstract

A secondary resource, branch wood, could be used in new eco-products as an alternative to stem wood providing its characteristics are understood. This paper presents a review of the literature with regard to the main microscopic, and macroscopic characteristics of branch wood compared to stem wood as a database to further analyze the strength behavior of branch products.
