Drying Process of Chips in Chipboard Technology

Abstract

This work-paper presents some aspects referring to the drying process of chips in chipboard technology. From all influencing factors it approaches only the one referring to wooden chips, respectively: chips thickness, species, dimensional uniformity and so on. It puts in evidence that the drying process of wooden chips is a complex one and features of wood chips can have a great influence, even if the installation does not explain and show it.
