Researches upon the Leucaspis Genus in Romania and Portugal

Abstract

This paper presents briefly the morphology, biology and characteristics of the damages produced by the Leucaspis scales and the results of our researches about the intensity of the attack, localization and association modalities of the species of Leucaspis, the mortality rate. Our researches were performed both in Romania on October 2005 in 5 areas and in Portugal on April 2007 in 3 areas.
