Abstract

Having established a theoretical method for the study of theparticularities of transmissions, the paper brings a contribution to the betterknowledge of concrete aspects of tractor and agricultural implementsoperation, and allows for a rational selection of the computation regime ofthe power drive transmission, as well as of the optimum manufacturing andoperation parameters and environmental impact. Following these researchsignificant similarities emerged of the theoretical and experimental results, thus proving the adequacy of the theoretical research method.
