Abstract

The paper presents the main characteristics of rainfall regime in the Romanian Plain, named Vlăsiei Plain, and explains the rainfall overflow, respectively the obvious favourability of rainfall regime in relation to forest vegetation, through interference phenomena of atmospheric circulations from east to west, within the context of the restructuration induced by the configuration of the major Romanian Carpathians peaks.
