The Music of Imperfect Love

Abstract

This work is about the musical appearances of the greatest feeling in the world: the love. We tried to survey a large field of love in musical styles: from the baroque age to the modern period. Love is not perfect – not even in music – this often happens because we put such a pressure on love, which it does not possess from the very beginning. Love is powerful and smiley, it also possesses unconditional and endless happiness: the perfect love, God’s love.
