Abstract

This study aims to study the way the combination of receptive music therapy with metaphor in the experiential group determines the development of emotional intelligence. There were involved 30 subjects who participated for a period of 18 months at an experiential training where they were challenged to exercise their insight and analysis abilities and to better know themselves and others. Thus, they understood that each person is unique and that coexisting harmoniously with others requires good receptivity not only of their own needs and emotions but also of others as well as their effective communication.
