Abstract

The evolution of Scarlatti’s Sonatas, summarizing the elements that have led to the formula of the basic pattern of Scarlatti Sonata form, with the following succession: Exposition - Development - Re exposition (where the Recapitulation starts up either with the bridge or the 2nd theme).
