Abstract

The crystallization of the sonata form in Enescu’s reasoning is prepared by the first two sonatas for the violin. Sonata III achieves the synthesis between national and universal. A national style involves that a score is the crossing point of the three directions: the Romanian themes, the national musical language, and the international composition regulations.
