General Aspects Regarding Voluntary Actions in Romania

Abstract

Voluntary action in the non profit sector, in general, and in the social domain, in particular, has started developing after 1989. This article regards only a few general aspects of the voluntary action such as: the defining of the concept, a short history, and not lastly, the importance of voluntary action from a social and economic perspective.
