Abstract

The need of protecting the intellectual creation appeared a long time ago, during the ancient times. The regulations that stipulates the state recognitions of a certain appropriation right over some intellectual creation objects (e.g. the 1954 Venetian Law, the 1791 French Law) are a prove in this respect. The moment when the legal frame for the author's rights was created coincided to the descovery of the print by Gutenburg. In our country first law that regulated the literary and artistic creations' authors rights was the Press Law from the 13th of April 1862.
