Abstract

The present essay issues a short presentation of the problem of euthanasia. The progresses of medicine generated also a series of medical ethics problems, most of them, controversial ones. A controversial problem of medical ethics is euthanasia. Euthanasia is the process in which a life is taken by another human being to avoid the painful effects of a disease.
