Child’s Adaptation To Kindergarten Environment – A Psychological Study

Abstract

This paper is based on a vast investigation on family relationships, relations between parents and children according to parenting styles, and on the impact of these relations on children (between 2 ½ and 3 ½ years) adaptation to kindergarten environment. Because children face many difficulties in the first 2 – 3 months of kindergarten, the number of parents asking for psychological and educational consultancy is constantly increasing. From the obtained result of the investigation, we will present only the characteristics of child adaptation to kindergarten environment.
