Abstract

This article contains information about a 5 pillar method to prevent and stop violence in schools. Preventing violence in schools is a complex process. Not only does the victim need help, but those around the victim also need to understand the implications and learn to control the situation. Teachers, parents the aggressor, (the bully) the victim, and the classmates all need knowledge, rules, and social skills that help them stop the psychological mechanisms of violence, commonly known as bullying. Bullying will not disappear, but can be controlled if people (start to work together) cooperate. It asks for the commitment of everybody involved.
