Biometric solutions address the fundamental problems of recognizing a person based on features of the iris and the retina because a person's biometric data are unique and cannot be transferred. Biometrics are automated methods of identifying a person or verifying the identity of a person based on morphological or behavioral characteristics. Examples of morphological characteristics include images of the hand, finger, facial features, and recognition of the iris. Behavioral characteristics are traits that have been learned or acquired. Dynamic signature verification, speaker verification, and the dynamics of pressure are examples of behavioral characteristics.Downloads
