Which will dominate the Middle East: extremism or the path of compromise? Is it possible that the European Union together with the international community to contribute to the establishment of a lasting, just and comprehensive peace? This paper presents some answers to these questions which will certainly be helpful in foreshadowing the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the situation in the entire Middle East. The paper concentrates on and analyzes the role of the European Union regarding the mediation/resolving of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.Downloads
