Abstract

The process of adopting a contraceptive behavior is determined by a series of factors, having a slow progress in time. The use of birth control methods by the Roma women is influenced by a series of specific elements. This article wants to highlight an image containing the degree to which the Roma women are aware of the birth control methods and family planning. To this end, I have used the technique of group interview. In the first stage, I applied a number of group interviews with the Roma women from the Gîrcin community. Afterward, I examined the interviews using inductive analysis. The results were grouped into thematic categories.
