Within the framework of international criminal law, the International Criminal Court (ICC) plays a pivotal role in tackling gender-based crimes and advancing women’s dignity. This paper critically examines the ICC’s increasing efforts to combat sexual, reproductive, and other forms of gender-based violence, focusing particularly on the Office of the Prosecutor’s 2023 Policy on Gender-Based Crimes and related ICC case law.Downloads
