Theatre Applied in the Social Field

Abstract

This article deals with a theme that is at the confluence of social work, psychology, and drama. In the article, there are synthesized some of the most important theatre application directions in the social field: psychodrama, sociodrama, drama therapy, Augusto Boal’s techniques, and theatre in education. Next, it presents a group work project for children at risk from a day center in Brasov, having the aim to realize a play and to act as a campaign for abuse prevention.
