Abstract

Cancer diagnosis and treatment significantly impact patients' psychological well-being and quality of life. Psycho-oncological support services have emerged as essential components of comprehensive cancer care, yet limited research exists on their effectiveness in the Romanian healthcare context. The psycho-oncological support program demonstrated significant clinical and statistical benefits for cancer patients. These findings support the integration of structured psychosocial interventions into standard oncological care and indicate the need for widespread implementation of such programs.
