Abstract

Starting from the analysis of “Situation in Ukraine” before the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the arrest warrant regarding Vladimir Putin and the “this article focuses on the main challenges to the Court effectiveness, such as the State cooperation in its investigations and proceedings, in order to suggest some critical solutions, including the limited in absentia proceedings which could also be applied in the future to enhance the role of the ICC and the international criminal justice more in general.
