The paper presents a practical guide for the job evaluation process, focused on the analytical schemes. There are six steps that enhance the methodological accuracy of the point-factor rating scheme: critical factors determination, levels of factors determination, point allocation to subfactors, point allocation to levels, point manual development, and point system application.
