Abstract

Our study has included 191 bacterial strains isolated from different pathological products from the patients hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit department of the Clinical County Emergency Hospital of Brasov during 2 years. The ethiologic spectrum of these infections was dominated by species from the Enterobacteriaceae family (Enterobacter sp., E.coli, Proteus sp.) and Staphylococcus aureus. Other germs ethiologically implicated were coagulase negative stafilococci, Enterococcus sp., Streptococcus sp. and Candida sp.
