Measles In Brasov County Romania in 2006 - Epidemiological Issues

Abstract

The paper is a retrospective study analyzing some epidemiological issues of measles cases occurred in Brasov County in 2006. A total of 431 cases of measles was represented of 87% children and 13% adults, the group of children over one year was the most representative (62,64%). Measles was diagnosed especially in country area (62,87%). The study reveals applying constantly, strictly and supervised of specific prophylaxis represents a necessity beside medical education among large population.
