Thin Layer for Chromatography Heavy Metals Detection
Keywords:
thin layer chromatography, cadmium, cobalt, ferumAbstract
Heavy metal intoxications can occur from contamined water consumption (for instance water which flows through copper plumbing, from breathing polluted air or by occupational exposure. The possibilities of separation by thin layer cromatography for Fe2+, Cd2+, Co2+ have been experimentally studied, using Whatman celulosis as stationary phase and various mixtures of acetone, water and clorhidric acid as mobile phases.Published
