Abstract

Osteoporosis is a first-line concern in the fight against suffering and death. Considered a silent epidemic, osteoporosis and especially its complications have devastating consequences on quality of life, health, and not least on health budgets. Histological study of muscle and bone in the same patient shows a clear lesion parallelism, proving, that some of the blame for the production of the fracture falls upon the muscle and bone.
