Abstract

An electrical storm is defined as the occurrence of three or more distinct episodes of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation in 24 hours, requiring the intervention of the defibrillator. The aim of the paper is to present a case series of patients with electrical storms requiring hospitalization. The patients were collected from a retrospective study of 217 patients with ICD implanted at ICCO clinics between 01.02.2009- 30.04.2014. We analyzed retrospectively the patient’s files and the recordings from ambulatory follow-up visits.
